Centennial Community Scavenger Hunt
Win a Chamber Trip or $2,500 Cash
This fun-filled, family-friendly community Scavenger Hunt kicks off Wednesday, June 27, 2012 and runs nine weeks through August 24, 2012. New weekly clues will be announced each Monday featuring local businesses as part of the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce’s Centennial Celebration.
Clues will be posted on the chamber's website and Facebook page, as well as The Coeur Group's Scavenger Hunt web page (www.TheCoeurGroup.com). Written copies will be available at the Chamber office.
Scavenger Hunt game cards are free and available now at the Coeur d’Alene Chamber, located at 105 N. 1st Street in Coeur d'Alene or at any Chamber event. Visit each of the participating member businesses that you are directed to by solving the weekly clues.
Correctly completed Centennial Scavenger Hunt game cards will be entered into a drawing at the Chamber's 100th Birthday Party held September 21st on the front lawn of the Coeur d’Alene Resort. One winning card will be selected. The Scavenger Hunt winner will receive one free travel accommodation for an upcoming Coeur d’Alene trip (to be announced in the Fall) or the winner can choose to receive $2,500 in cash. Past trips have included, Italy, Australia, Germany, China and Thailand.
To play the game solve the clues each week to determine the 26 Scavenger Hunt Sponsors/Businesses. Visit the participating business and receive a sticker to be placed in its respective place on the game card. Players can solve clues each week or solve them at their leisure. The goal is to solve all clues, obtain all 26 stickers for the Scavenger Hunt game card, and submit the completed game pieces need to be to the Chamber by Monday, September 17th. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
