The Chamber is pleased to present Mayor Bloem at December's Upbeat Breakfast on December 9th. Mayor Bloem will present her annual "State of the City" and recognize our progress and achievements while  addressing some of the challenges that our community faces.  Don't miss this end-of-the-year tradition as we reflect on and celebrate the past year.  Reserve your tickets today for a guaranteed seat. Doors open at 7:00 a.m. and the program will begin promptly at 7:20 a.m. Tickets are $13 in advance or $19 at the door.  To make a reservation, click here or contact Toni Sayler at 415-0112.  The reservation deadline is Friday, December 5th at 3:00 p.m.

December Artwalk Celebrates the Holidays on First Friday, December 5th
Join the Arts and Culture Alliance on Friday, December 5th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. during the last Artwalk of the year!  This month's event is a week early to accomodate holiday festivities.  Our featured gallery will be Sum of Six, located at 321 E. Front Ave. We will be raffling off "Dramatic Contour" by LeeJa Junker during the event at Sum of Six! Be sure to stop by and get your raffle ticket for a chance to win! Legislative Send-off Luncheon Slated for December 17th*
The Chamber will be hosting its Annual Legislative Send-Off Luncheon, sponsored by Verizon, on Wednesday, December 17th at the Coeur d'Alene Inn from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The cost to attend the luncheon is $25.00. Members are invited to join legislators from Districts 3, 4, & 5 for a social period prior to lunch. Coeur d'Alene and other regional chambers will present their legislative positions, followed by state legislators speaking on key issues facing their districts. Enrollment Now Open for 2009 Best Places to Work in Idaho
The Idaho Business Review, the state's preeminent business publication, is teaming with POPULUS, a nationally-recognized marketing research company headquartered in Boise, to identify the best places to work in Idaho and the best practices in employee attraction and retention. Registration is FREE - Awards are FREE - Feedback is FREE.  There is no cost to participate in the Web survey for all Idaho employees. In addition, again for no cost, each participating company is eligible to win an award based on the results of their confidential employee surveys.
