International Classic and Antique Boat Show
SPONSORED BY NORTHWEST DODGE DEALERSNWDodge
Coeur d'Alene is proud to be the host city for this year's Antique and Classic Boat Society's Annual International Boat Show. The event is being held on September 19th and 20th at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Marina.  Antique and Classic boats will line the Boardwalk for the public to enjoy.  Please note that this event replaces the Wooden Boat show that is traditionally held in August.  Mark your calendars for this unique event!

Fall Membership Drive This Week
This week, dozens of volunteers will be helping to recruit members to the Chamber during the Annual Fall Membership Drive. Committee volunteers will be calling businesses in the area and encouraging them to join the Chamber and take advantage of everything it has to offer.  If you know of a company who would benefit from a Chamber membership, please contact us and let us make the connection.  Call Marilee at 415-0111 for more information.

Citizen of the Year Nominations
We are now accepting nominations for the Citizen of the Year Award.  The award will be voted on by the Executive Committee after considering all nominations that are received.  The purpose of the Citizen of the Year Award is to recognize and show appreciation for the volunteer efforts of a community member who has exhibited generosity and service beyond the call of duty through their own actions on behalf of the community.  The award honors members for their altruistic philosophy and compassionate service for the benefit of others. The submission is to be made to the Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce, 105 N. First St., Ste. 100, Coeur d'Alene ID 83814 or email brenda@cdachamber.com with no more than two attachments, no later than  October 3rd, 2008.  For additional information, please contact Brenda at 415-0110.
