Spokane Indians Chamber Networking Night
Presented by Toshiba Business Solutions & Catalyst magazine
Join your fellow Chamber members on Thursday, July 24th for the annual Networking Night at the ballpark. Network with area Chamber members before the game and meet up with family and friends after to enjoy a great evening of baseball!  Each Chamber member will receive:Spokane Indians

Board of Directors Nominations
The Chamber is accepting nominations for the 2010 Slate for the Board of Directors until August 1st.  Six new members will be elected to the Board in September. Any Chamber member in good standing is eligible for nomination for a three year term.  Each nomination must include the signatures of twenty-five current members.  If you would like to receive a nomination form, please contact Ginger at 415-0108.

Chamber Monthly Newsletter "Going Green"GoGreen
In an effort to operate more efficiently and environmentally friendly, the Chamber will be offering the choice to "opt out" of the printed monthly newsletter. If you choose to opt out, the newsletter will be available in a pdf format online and be sent via email each month. This change will take affect with the October 2008 newsletter.

Business After Hours at Fairwinds July 31st
FairwindsJoin your fellow Chamber Members at the July Business After Hours, hosted by Fairwinds Coeur d'Alene on July 31st.  From 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. enjoy hors d'oeuvres and refreshments while networking with other active Chamber Members.  Fairwinds  is located at 2340 W. CDA Triathlon and Duathlon  - August 9thCDATri
Registrations have hit a record high for the 25th annual Coeur d'Alene Triathlon & Duathlon.  Online registration is available HERE and will close on August 7th at 9:00 p.m.  The race format is a 1.5k swim, a 40k bike, and a 10k run.  For more information, contact Mac Cavasar at MCavasar@roadrunner.net.  Volunteers are still needed to help run the race!  Please visit cdatriathlon.com and click "Volunteer!" to sign up to help.  For more information on volunteering, contact Michelle at 415-0106.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
All Chamber member businesses are invited to place promotional materials (coupons, flyers, samples, pens, key rings, whatever!) in the Triathlon athlete goodie bags at no cost.  These bags are distributed to approximately 1500 triathlon athletes the day before the race during registration.

We are also looking for vendors to participate in the Triathlon Expo in the city park on Friday evening, August 8th and Saturday, August 9th.  This opportunity is exclusive to Chamber Members, but be sure to sign up soon as spaces will sell out quickly.  Please contact Jenna for more information on these opportunities at 415-0107.

The Chamber's Business Development Committee's Annual Business Tour is slated for Friday, October 3rd, 2008.  The day will include breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express on Seltice, lunch and transportation.  Featured businesses are LA Aluminum Casting Company, Titan Spring & Wire Products, Lakeland Company Inc., Salvation Army Kroc Center and Forest Steel. 1966 MUSTANG IS READY TO ROLL
The Chamber is pleased to announce that the 2008 raffle car is ready to hit the road!  This year's beauty is a 1966 Mustang and will be making apperances at many of Coeur d'Alene's summer events including Car d'Lane, the 4th of July Festival and Street Fair.  Buy your tickets today at the Chamber office, Goodies Texaco or Hot Rod Cafe.  The car will be raffled off at the Chamber's annual meeting in October.  For more information on the raffle car, contact Brenda at 415-0110.

Chamber Website Advertising
The Coeur d'Alene Chamber is excited to launch a new web advertising campaign open to all Chamber Members. Space is available on the Chamber website (www.cdachamber.com), which gets approximately 37,000 page visits per month.  This advertising opportunity is unique and affordable for all businesses. Advertising on the website is limited to 4 businesses per month, each being rotated on a banner ad at the top of the website, repeating on every page. Commodore Trailer Advertising
The Commodores are seeking businesses who wish to take advantage of a unique advertising opportunity.  The Commodores build, maintain & operate a community float which appears in 10-15 parades per year, normally with community royalty.  The sponsoring businesses who make a financial commitment will receive space for signage on the float trailer.  Participation in the program is limited to Chamber members only.  The Commodores will attempt to limit participation to only one business from a business classification.  (For example, only one tire company, only one insurance company, etc.)  The sponsorship cost is $350.00 per year.  For more information or to contribute as a sponsor, contact Brenda at 415-0110.
