Silverwood's Tremors Be A Kid Again
Weekend – May 3-4, 2008 – To celebrate Tremors landmark opening
in “1999” everyone gets in at the Kids price of only $19.99 per
person per day when purchasing your ticket at Silverwood front
gate. (Regular General admission price is $36.99 you save
$17.00)

The Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center at The Old Church is celebrating
three years of operations with a Cinqo de Mayo Birthday Party.
Tacos, Margaritas, Mariachi music and piñatas will be just a
part of fun.
The event is a way to thank the community for their support and
to introduce new friends to the historic building, beautifully
restored to create a regional
Arts & Cultural center in Post Falls.
May 6th - 7th, The Department of Labor is
offering a free Unemployment Insurance Seminar to help
employers control and manage unemployment insurance costs.. A
half-day seminar is scheduled in Coeur d'Alene on May 6th and
7th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. You
must register online as space is limited!
Topics include
• Unemployment claim process review.
• Unemployment insurance compliance update.
• Wage & hour overview.
• Introduction to new online system for managing your employer
account.

Playhouse Reader’s Theatre will present Broadway Bound, the
final chapter of the Neil Simon’s Eugene Trilogy comprised of
Brighton Beach Memoirs, Biloxi Blues and Broadway Bound.
Silverwood's Night of the Stars – May 9,
2008 – Silverwood “stars” include anyone that is
permanently physically or mentally challenged or has a terminal
illness. Our “stars” are invited to a special evening at the
park that includes free admission, food, and entertainment for
the “star” and one guest. (Additional discounted admission
tickets are available for the “stars” family & friends.) This is
an invitation only event that is not open to the general public.

Silverwood: Moms are free – Family
Weekend – May 10-11, 2008 – When a family brings Mom to
the park and purchases their tickets at the front gate, Mom gets
in free plus the family receives a special general admission
price of only $19.99 per person per day Celebrate Mother’s Day
at Silverwood. (A Savings of $17.00 per person on General
Admission – ages 8 to 64) (Only one FREE Mom ticket per family)

Silverwood's 21st Season Celebration –
May 17-18, 2008 – General Admission (ages 8 to 64) is

Silverwood's American Heroes Weekend –
Memorial Day Weekend/Boulder Beach opening weekend – May

to the park on these special event days and their immediate
family members (spouse & children) are ½ Price General Admission
($18.49 all ages) when they purchase their tickets at the front
gate.

Boulder Beach – NOW OPEN DAILY – June 7,
2008 – Thru Labor day September 1, 2008 from 11am to

Silverwood's Christian Family Weekend –
June 14-15, 2008 – Two day Christian family celebration.
Buy one General Admission ticket and receive one free when you
purchase your tickets in advance. (This special offer does not
apply when purchasing tickets at Silverwood’s front gate) For

Silverwood's Ride and Slide With Dad –
June 14-15, 2008 – Celebrate Father’s Day Weekend at
Silverwood. Dads are free when accompanied by their children.
When a child purchases a ticket at the front gate for themselves
they will be given a free ticket for their dad (only one free
dad ticket per family). (Not valid with other discounts,
promotions or offers.) (You must request this offer at the time
of purchase to receive your free ticket.) For more information

Friday and Saturday, June 20th and 21st,
New Wind Choir from Birmingham, Alabama will perform in
Riverstone Park from 11 AM to 1 PM. This is a free event
sponsored by NorthStar Church that will appeal to the entire
family. There will be free food and entertainment. New Wind is
probably unlike any choir you've seen before! Don't miss it!
Saturday, June 21st, NorthStar Church is
providing a Free Pancake Breakfast to Ironman athletes,
volunteers, and spectators in the City Park near the gazebo from
7:30-10:00 AM.
JULY 2008
Fireworks Extravaganza – Friday,
July 4, 2008 – Celebrate Independence Day at Silverwood with
patriotic music and a fireworks extravaganza at dusk. For

July 6th, Race the River Triathlon at Riverstone.

Silverwood's Toyota Tuesdays – July
22-29, 2008 – Cruise out to Silverwood in your Toyota and
the driver gets in free. Pick up an admission coupon at any
Inland Empire regional Toyota dealer and receive free admission

Silverwood's Coaster Classic –
August 30, 2008 – 8th annual Labor Day Weekend
Classic Car Show. Nostalgic cars line up at Silverwood for
one of the largest classic car shows in the region. Hosted
by the Inland Empire Late Great Chevy Club “55 – 72” and

Silverwood: Excelerator – September 6, 2008 –
Silverwood will host the 7th annual Import, Sports Compact, and
Truck/SUV, and Sports Bike Car Show. Don’t miss the largest show
of its kind in the Inland Empire! This show includes trophies in
dozens of categories, DB Stereo Drags, Neon-light Competition,

Silverwood: It’s A Grand Sunday –
September 7, 2008 – What better way to celebrate
Grandparents Day than to spend a weekend at Silverwood.
Silverwood shows their appreciation for granddads and
grandmas by admitting them to the park for free when
accompanied by a grandchild. For each grandchild that
purchases a ticket at the front gate they will be given one
free ticket for grandma or grandpa. (You must request this
