Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Membership Outreach Committee to
communicate with Chamber members by keeping them informed of
all chamber activities and make sure their voices are
heard. They do this by assisting with new member
orientations, New Member mentorship's, monthly customer
service telephone surveys, hosting the annual Membership
Appreciation day, participating in the spring and fall
membership drives, staffing the After Hours Business fair,
and attending Member ribbon cuttings. The committee also
helps develop membership retention strategies, and critiques
membership communications. Open to all interested Members. If

Goals
- Be a more visible committee by wearing committee
shirts to all functions.
- Continue to conduct frequent new member receptions.
Minimum 4 per year.
- Conduct New Member Survey’s via e-mail to identify
any problem accounts.
- Conduct 3 month prior to billing surveys.
- Continue to mentor Members identified by surveys.
- Plaque programs deliver and collect membership
plaques.
- Continue & grow Membership Appreciation day in
September 2008.
- Continue to be the staff support at business fairs.
- Actively seek out new committee members.
- Support new members by attending Ribbon Cuttings
when possible.
- Host the quarterly Coffee & Contacts events.
- Continue with the monthly Membership Feedback Lunch.
