Coeur d'Alene Junior Miss Scholarship Program

Coeur d’Alene Junior Miss is a scholarship program that emphasizes education, personal development and community involvement in local young women.  Sponsored by the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce Commodores, the program is open to all Junior girls who live in the Coeur d’Alene School District.  Participants meet for about 8 weeks and learn a fitness routine, presence and composure routine and hear from various community members who teach them skills in interviewing, public speaking, healthy lifestyles and responsible decision making. 

At the end of the program, the participants are judged at a final performance in the categories of Interview, Scholastics, Talent, Fitness and Presence and Composure.  A panel of five judges score them individually and will select a representative of Coeur d’Alene from the group.  Winners in each of the categories are awarded scholarship money, as well as a 2^nd Alternate and 1^st Alternate.

The 2010 Coeur d’Alene Junior Miss Program was a major success again this year, in large part due to our generous community.  The committee would like to thank everyone who supported and attended the program and we congratulate the following participants:
