From emergency and intensive care services to full-service surgical and medical-surgical services, KMC offers complete health care services and superior nursing care. In 2006, KMC was designated as a Magnet hospital by the American Nursing Credentialing Center, the ultimate benchmark for quality nursing care.

KMC features a specialized emergency services center, critical care units, and excellent pediatrics, obstetrics, oncology, and rehabilitation departments. KMC's North Idaho Heart Center provides comprehensive cardiac services ranging from diagnostic procedures to interventional and open-heart surgery.
