Coeur d'Alene Downtown Association

The Coeur d’Alene Downtown Association (DTA) was established in May 1990 to provide services within the Business Improvement District (BID). The DTA is a comprehensive, non-profit, downtown management agency governed by a membership-elected Board of Directors. The DTA uses the Main Street Four-Point Approach in its revitalization efforts, funded by revenues from the BID, the City of Coeur d’Alene, and various promotional events.

Idaho Small Business Development Center

ISBDC exists to help businesses thrive and grow.  It provides no-cost Business Coaching and low cost Business & Leadership Training.  ISBDC coaches and assists entrepreneurs to improve their inventions, buy or sell their business, all through expert one-on-one coaching.  The key areas of focus are leadership development, business planning, marketing strategy, operational improvements, and venture funding.  ISBDC also provides extensive selection of affordable business workshops.  ISBDC serves as the primary resource center for small businesses in Northern Idaho.

Jobs Plus, Inc./Coeur d'Alene Area Economic Development Corporation is a non-profit economic development corporation with a mission to expand and diversify the economic and employment base of Kootenai County.  Since 1987, they have added more than 75 companies providing over 4,500 new jobs through recruitment efforts.

Panhandle Area Council

The Panhandle Area Council, Inc. is a non-profit, certified Economic Development Corporation organized to aid in diversifying and stabilizing the area's economy.  The council serves the five northern counties of Idaho and assists small businesses in their start-up or expansion.

Lake City Development Corporation

The Lake City Development Corporation is the urban redevelopment agency serving Coeur d'Alene.  LCDC is the lead public partner for leveraging the potential of public/private partnerships within our Urban Renewal Districts to ensure public benefit to the community via strategic economic vitalization/development, sustainable and superior public open spaces, and funding for pre-eminent public art.  LCDC's public benefit activities within the Districts include strategic/master planning, creation of public open space, and public/private ownership development.
